Mainly due to the increase in crude volumes sold by the company, TotalEnergies EP Gabon’s revenue stands at $157 million in the 3rd quarter of 2024, up 27% compared to the 2nd quarter. Compared to the previous quarter (124 million dollars), in the third quarter of 2024, TotalEnergies EP Gabon recorded a turnover of 157 million dollars, an increase of 27%.
This increase is mainly explained by the increase in the volumes of crude sold by the Gabonese subsidiary of the French oil major TotalEnergies, i.e. 43%. A result which is itself justified by a schedule of removals considered more favorable having made it possible to compensate for the drop in the average prices of crudes marketed (-7%).
Net income for the third quarter of 2024 was $25 million, down 11% from the second quarter of 2024 ($28 million). It was negatively impacted by the decline in gross margin (-$12 million), offset by the decline in tax expense (+$9 million) between the two periods.
TotalEnergies EP Gabon’s crude oil production in the third quarter of 2024 amounts to 16.9 kb/d, slightly down from the second quarter of 2024 (17.4 kb/d), mainly due to the planned shutdown of the Anguille compressor for maintenance.
