On a visit to Cairo, the President of the Gabonese Transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, met with Egyptian investors and President Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi. The discussions aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation in sectors such as infrastructure, trade and energy, while paving the way for structuring investments for Gabon.
During his stay in Cairo, the President of the Transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, met on November 29, 2024 with a delegation of Egyptian investors led by Reda Boulos, CEO of the Egyptian African Arab Co. For Development group.
The group expressed its honor to be received by the Gabonese Head of State and reaffirmed its desire to contribute to the development of Gabon. Convinced of the importance of building the future of Africa by Africans, it plans to invest in structuring projects such as road and port infrastructure as well as in the banking sector. These initiatives aim to streamline mining logistics and facilitate Gabonese exports.
Investors have praised Gabon’s political stability, considering it a strategic partner for African development. Meanwhile, President Oligui Nguema held talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. The two heads of state expressed their willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation in strategic sectors such as trade, energy, health and industry.
These exchanges illustrate the common desire to deepen partnerships between their nations and to promote regional economic integration for the benefit of the continent.
