EOGSEZ 6.5% Gross 2018-2028 Bond loan: Subscribers to be paid soon

Gabon Special Economic Zone (GSEZ) will proceed on June 15, 2020, to the payment of interest on its bond loan issued in 2018 called “EOGSEZ 6.5% gross 2018-2028”, for an amount of 228,773,513 FCFA francs , due June 14, 2020.

In its press release dated May 13, the Bank of Central African States BEAC, the sole central depositary of CEMAC’s securities announces the payment from June 15 by Gabon Economic Special Zone (GSEZ), of interest on his bond issued in 2018 called “EOGSEZ 6.5% gross 2018” for an amount of 228,773,513 CFA francs. “The net coupon to be collected per bond is 162.5 FCFA and the opening date of collection operations at the counters of Investment Service Providers (PSI) is fixed at June 16, 2020,” BEAC said.

This “EOGSEZ 6.5% Gross 2018-2028” interest payment transaction, the third of its kind after the sequences of December 14, 2019 and March 13, 2020, will bring the amount paid in interest to 686,320,539 CFA francs , for this first infrastructure obligation in the CEMAC zone.

Indeed, the Gabon Economic Special Zone (GSEZ) had launched in September 2018 a bond loan “EOGSEZ 6.5% gross 2018-2028” of 33 billion CFA francs, on the financial market of CEMAC, in local currency of 10 year term. These funds will finance the expansion of logistics infrastructure in the Nkok Special Economic Zone.
