These machines which will in fact be connected to the information and management systems of the State, namely the E. tax for taxes and the integrated public finance management system. This will allow all the data to be automatically implemented each time merchants are billed.

“In the near future, we are going to provide all merchants with a type of machine that will allow invoicing with secure data. That is to say, we will find the Niu of the taxpayer there, the commercial register in short, all the mandatory information, “said Minister Delegate for the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé.

“In the old billing there was no interconnection. The trader could buy any machine, bill as he saw fit with any endorsements he could. What we are going to put in place gradually will allow us to already have a summary of the sales and the amount that must be paid to the State. In this way, state revenues will increase. There will be no more way to cheat, “he added.

Asked about the exact date of implementation of the said project, the Minister for the Budget said that it is a heavy investment because it will be a question of equipping more than fifty thousand commercial establishments across the territory. national.

It should be noted that in order to inform taxpayers about this new reform, the General Directorate of Taxes and Estates will soon be carrying out awareness campaigns.

It should be remembered that in order to secure state revenue, the Ministry of Finance set up several reform projects in 2016.
