114 million FCFA for phase 2 of Azobe project

The delegation of the European Union and the French Embassy in Gabon are launching until February 18, 2021, a second call for projects for the Azobé program, specially dedicated to craftsmen in Gabon and with a total amount of 113,175,541 CFA francs.

After a first edition of the call for projects of the “Azobé” program with a budget of 260 million CFA francs, with an amount attributable to each project between 10 and 39 million CFA francs, the delegation of the European Union and the French Embassy in Gabon renew the operation until February 18, 2021.

Specially dedicated to craftsmen in Gabon, specifically associations, GIEs, cooperatives, federations, confederations and professional orders of craftsmen, this mechanism for financing development projects for the year 2021 has a global envelope of 113,175 541 FCFA.

The amount of funding for each project is between 10 and 39 million CFA francs. Although reduced by a little over 50% compared to the first edition, the amount of this funding mechanism takes into account the concerns of Gabonese society, particularly in the areas of professional integration of young people and development. local economy. It aims to provide civil society organizations with an environment allowing them to participate in the economic development of the country, but also in the democratic process of their country.
