Société de Patrimoine : Priva Lekouka aims for 10 billion more in turnover

The managing director of the Société de Patrimoine has the ambition to increase the turnover of his company by 30% per year. This represents a gain of 10 billion CFA francs thanks to two large projects, the first of which concerns the construction of a 90 kilovolt (KV) line but also 90 kV and 20 kV substations in Port-Gentil.

Arrived at the head of the Société de Patrimoine last September, Eddie Priva Lekouka has great ambitions. He wants to increase the company’s turnover by 30% per year. That is a gain of 10 billion FCFA thanks to the return on investment of two major projects. The first concerns the construction of a 90 kilovolt (KV) line as well as 90 kV and 20 kV substations in Port-Gentil.

“As part of the construction of the electrical energy evacuation infrastructure of the Cap-Lopez thermal power plant, two lines (90 kV) from this installation should be built. A 7.6 km first line between Cap-Lopez and the power station of the Gabon Energy and Water Company (SEEG) has already been built and put into operation since 2017. The physical progress of the works of the second line known as Ntchengue, 16.5 km long, is very satisfactory for the 90 kV line, the 90 kV substation and the 20 kV substation ”, confided Eddie Priva Lekouka in L’Union of 12 November.

The second project involves the installation of the second 225/63 kV 40 mega-volt ampere (Mva) transformer between the SEEG and SP plants in south-eastern Gabon. “We have undertaken to build a 63 kV line between the hydroelectric plants of Société de Patrimoine (Grand-Poubara) and SEEG (Poubara 1 and 2). To date, the line construction work has been fully completed, and that of the step-down transformer is nearing completion, ”detailed Eddie Priva Lekouka, specifying that this work aims to improve the stability of the SEEG interconnected network, as well as better continuity of service for the public network of the Haut-Ogooué and Ogooué-Lolo provinces.

The heritage company is a public company whose mission is to work, in synergy with the State, in the development of policies for the operation, production, transport and distribution of drinking water and electricity. It currently manages the Grand Poubara power plants in Franceville, Alénakiri in Libreville and Cap Lopez in Port-Gentil.
