More than 70 million FCFA to be shared to Chadian entrepreneurs

The Minister of Youth Promotion, Sports and Employment, Mahamat Nassour Abdoulaye announced on Monday that more than 70 million FCFA  will be delivered today Tuesday to young entrepreneurs carrying micro-projects in the Municipality of N’Djamena.

The Ministerial Department of Youth and Employment announces the second wave of the delivery of checks to young project leaders in the municipality of N’Djamena. It is within the framework of the implementation of the promise of 500 million FCFA in favor of youth entrepreneurship, made by the Head of State, Idriss Deby Itno, during the National Youth Forum in 2018.

44 micro-project promoters will benefit from an envelope of more than 70 million for the second wave of funding in N’Djamena. For the 15 other provinces of the remaining country, five missions will be led by the agents of the ministry.

According to Minister Mahamat Nassour Abdoulaye, three provinces have already received their funding with an envelope of 61,820,000 FCFA, notably the two Logone and the Guéra. “This promise has become a reality since the inauguration of the Logone slaughterhouse on February 29 in Moundou.”

In addition, the Minister in charge of Youth Promotion and Employment wishes to reassure young people who have submitted their projects for the second wave of funding that 819 projects will be selected by the committee, for a total amount of 1,428,252,600 FCFA. “All of these projects selected by the committee will be sent to the banks to be financed as part of the establishment of the 30 billion FCFA fund for youth entrepreneurship,” he adds.
