The Ministry of the Economy, Development Planning and International Cooperation is organizing from September 7 to 11, 2020 a capacity building workshop on accounting treatment techniques and donor disbursements.
This training workshop is part of a series of learning events initiated by the manager of the multi-year program estimate of the “Consolidation of Acquired Services of the National Authorizing Officer” (CASON) project with a view to building the capacities of agents of the Ministry of the Economy, Development Planning and International Cooperation (MEPDCI).
This specifically involves mastering the peculiarities of accounts presented by projects financed by donors and the specifics related to the audits of these development projects compared to the traditional audit.
Over the course of five days, these agents will familiarize themselves with the full accounting of all funds received by projects. Management control, cost accounting, the overview of budget adjustments and the overview of project and program accounting are some of the modules around which discussions will be focused.
For the Deputy Director General of MEPDCI, Royoumta MADINGUE, this training reflects the commitment of her department in favor of a more coherent and operational mechanism aimed at strengthening the capacities of national actors and at identifying strategic and priority interventions to be carried out in this area. aid management.
