Chad and the Institute of the World Tourism Forum signed today, December 08, in Turkey a memorandum of understanding relating to the organization of the world tourism forum which will take place in March 2021 in Chad.
This memorandum of understanding between Chad and the Institute of the World Tourism Forum was signed between the Minister of Tourism Development, Culture and Handicrafts and the head of the Institute of the World Tourism Forum of Turkey. This is part of the organization of the World Tourism Forum in the Republic of Chad in 2021.
The Minister of Tourism Development, Culture and Handicrafts, Patalet Géo, who travelled for the occasion, did not fail to present Chad and its cultural, craft and tourist wealth to Turkish partners.
From north to south, from east to west, the riches are numerous. The Ennedi massifs, the Gauthiot falls, the queen of Guéra, the Zakouma National Park, the Léré Lake, (the only lake in Central Africa that abounds in manatees), are, according to Minister Patalet Géo, rich in attraction touristic.
Despite this tourism potential, “Chad remains less attractive due to a number of constraints, including the lack of a strategic tourism development plan that would make it possible to broaden and transform the base of the tourism offer. the tourism industry for sustainable and inclusive growth in the medium term ”, regrets the Chadian Minister in charge of tourism
