 Cameroon will invest nearly 500 million CFA francs to produce 30,000 copies of the General Tax Code

In a national call for tenders marked “under emergency procedure”, the State of Cameroon via the Ministry of Finance is seeking structures for the production of the general tax code for the 2024 financial years, 2025 and 2026.

Upon reading the document signed by the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze dated March 18, 2024, we discover that the service subject to this call for tenders includes the production of 10,000 copies of the bilingual General Tax Code for each of the financial years and the maximum delivery time for the service is 45 days.

Financed for a projected cost of 465 million FCFA from the budget of the Ministry of Finance, the document of nearly 1000 pages should cost 16,000 FCFA for the French version. While the General Tax Code takes into account the innovations introduced in the Finance Law. It is also updated each year according to new provisions of the finance law.
