Chadian custom authorities have announced that the export of arabic gum and sesame is authorized throughout the territory while waiting for a joint decree to be taken by the Minister of finance and that of trade.
For several weeks, products such as Arabic gum, sesame and others have not been exported. Several shipments of cake and other cargo are blocked at the borders. Customs officials say they have received orders from their superiors not to let any goods out.
According to the press release, exporters must comply with the Community regulations in force (regulation N ° 02/18 / CE / CEMAC / of 21/12/2018).“The aim of all of this is neither to penalize economic operators, much less their external partners, but rather to enforce the procedures in force in order to allow our country to make the most of our exports and establish a reliable trade balance.
