Two weeks after the announcement by the President of the Republic Ali Bongo Ondimba, the economic and social support measures planned as part of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic are taking shape. This is the case with the Solidarity Fund.
On April 20, the Ministry of Economy and Finance announced, through a press release “the effectiveness of the opening in the books of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) of a bank account dedicated to this Solidarity Fund intended for the national effort in the fight against Covid-19 ”.
In terms of the methods of supplying this account, contributors are requested, for payments by check or cash, to “approach the head office of CDC located at the Ochidia building, Avenue de Contet, Rue Jean Ndendé .” People based in the interior of the country are asked to contact their local treasury office.
