Promoting Impactful Projects: Recap of the Morning Meetings at the PSAO Exhibition

The mornings of the PSAO meetings (Products and Services of Africa and its Overseas Territories) have become an essential pre-event to the international PSAO exhibition. Their aim is to bring together a wide range of partners, sponsors, patrons, and members of the African diaspora, with the main mission of showcasing pre-selected projects intended for implementation on the African continent. These projects are characterized by their positive impact on Africa and are at the heart of the ecosystem that the PSAO exhibition seeks to create, aiming to increase the confidence of key stakeholders such as leaders, buyers, investors, and business angels.

Discovering Promising Projects of the Day

At the latest edition, two projects were presented, each carrying the potential to positively transform the African landscape. The first, led by Olivier MOULEGUR, is the SAWAJOB project, a platform aimed at promoting employability in Africa. This platform provides Africans with the opportunity to find employment tailored to their skills while allowing states to obtain valuable statistical data on training and employment needs within the population. The second project, presented by Brian HERFET, offers an innovative solution to harness the skills of the African diaspora. This platform enables dispersed diaspora talents to showcase their expertise, thereby facilitating their integration into African businesses and their contribution to the continent’s economic development.

Towards a Promising Future with PSAO

In addition to these two projects, several other initiatives are currently being evaluated for presentation at the upcoming morning meetings. The goal is to lay the groundwork for the PSAO exhibition scheduled for November in Côte d’Ivoire. These selected projects are intended to be highlighted and implemented in countries participating in the PSAO caravan, with which three-year conventions have been signed.

Diversity of Sectors and Positive Impact

The selected projects do not all converge in the same sector. Each is chosen for its potential to have a significant impact on the population and the country’s future. Among the projects already presented, some focus on specific areas such as aerospace, digital technology, and digital solutions for both the corporate world and individuals.

Call to Action for a Prosperous Continent

The organizers’ wish for these meetings is to see partners, investors, and business angels engage in this initiative to contribute to Africa’s development. The call is extended to all who wish to accompany this journey and contribute to building a better future for the African continent.
