In addition, “we will regularly inform MTN Cameroon of any new program that could interest it and above all, we will ensure an excellent quality of service, free of charge”, the Director General of the NEF, Camille Mouté to Bidias promised.

This agreement will be implemented within the framework of the three main NEF programs. These are the Graduate Citizen Employment program, the Youth Employment Retirement program and the Support program for the return of Cameroonian immigrants.

For its part, MTN Cameroon will, on the one hand, inform the NEF of its human resources needs and, on the other hand, resort to the intermediation of the FNE in the process of preselection of candidates.

The partnership is concluded for a period of two years. It will enable the two institutions to better serve their users. For the NEF, this collaboration will bring more visibility and opportunities to job seekers.

“This agreement will allow MTN to continue to trust local talent, as has been the case for 20 years already. We offer them a pleasant working environment where they can develop and flourish while providing customers with products and services, ” MTN Cameroon CEO Stephen Blewett highlighted.

The NEF and the leading operator are not on their first collaboration. More than two hundred interns and job seekers were hosted and trained by MTN Cameroon, over periods of 3 to 6 months, as part of the Youth Internship Program in 2019 and 2020.

This unprecedented step in the collaboration between these two institutions is also an opportunity for MTN Cameroon to engage again in a public-private partnership to continue to contribute in a concrete way to the development of Cameroon.
