JCDecaux wins Advertising concession at Libreville airport

The subsidiary of the French industrial group specializing in Urban advertising, JCDecaux Gabon, has won the contract for the exclusive advertising operation of Libreville International Airport.

CDecaux Gabon has obtained the exclusive advertising operation for Libreville International Airport. The announcement was made by the French group. “We are very proud to have been chosen as the exclusive advertising operator for Libreville International Airport. A key step in our development strategy in Gabon, this contract once again demonstrates the expertise of our teams and strengthens our airport platform in Africa as well as our position in Gabon. We are delighted to deploy an innovative, premium and resolutely digital offer in the most important airport in the country, which will transform in a few years into a major airport hub, ” JCDecaux Co-Director Jean-Charles Decaux.

This is a 10-year concession contract, awarding JCDecaux Gabon the management and operation of the indoor and outdoor advertising spaces at Léon Mba Libreville international airport, which serves 24 destinations in 16 countries and totals nearly one million passengers per year.

This new contract allows the group to add a 32nd African airport to its portfolio and to consolidate its presence in Gabon, where it operates within the framework of its partnership with the municipalities of Libreville, Akanda and Owendo. Benefiting from an exclusive presence on the public domain of the main axes of the agglomeration (Akanda, Airport, Seaside, City center, Expressway, PK5-PK12, Owendo), JCDecaux Gabon benefits from a solid shareholding consolidated by the presence of the Bolloré group and that of the Gabonese Fund for Strategic Investments (FGIS).
