Several state creditors will go to the fund as of October 15, as part of the settlement of the domestic debt. These are precisely companies whose debts are less than CFA 70 million, and which have been validated by the Task Force on the settlement of domestic debt.
After several months of waiting, several state creditors will smile again. As part of the settlement of the domestic debt, in fact, some companies will go to the cash from October 15. This is the announcement made by the Budget Ministry in L’Union on 12 October.
“The Ministry of the Budget informs companies whose debts are less than 70 million CFA francs which have been validated (by the conclusions of the work of the Task Force on the settlement of the domestic debt, note), that the Public Treasury will proceed to the payment of sums due from October 15, 2020 ”, announced the administration headed by Sosthène Ossoungou Ndibangoye.
To this end, the companies concerned were directed to the website of the General Directorate of Public Accounting and Treasury (tresorpulic.ga), “for any additional information”. Obviously, the government is tirelessly pursuing its efforts, which began since the start of the year, to settle the domestic debt.
At the end of the first six months of 2020, in fact, the Gabonese state proceeded with the cumulative settlement of the debt to the tune of CFAF 832.3 billion.
