This cooperation meeting , carried out on the instructions of the Gabonese transitional president , aims to provide Gabon with efficient planning, drawing inspiration from the successes of Côte d’Ivoire in this area.

Côte d’Ivoire, recognized for its economic performance and its ability to reduce poverty through robust strategic planning, hosted a Gabonese delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Alexandre Barro Chambrier. This visit, carried out from December 2 to 5, 2024, demonstrates Gabon’s ambition to reposition planning as a lever for national development.
During the audience at the office of the Ivorian Minister of Economy, Planning and Development, Nialé Kaba, the Gabonese Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation explored the foundations of Ivorian success. In the space of a few years, Côte d’Ivoire has recorded impressive growth rates, driven by rigorous planning and structuring investments in infrastructure. These performances have helped attract private capital while significantly reducing poverty.
Nialé Kaba shared the main strategies implemented, stressing the importance of intersectoral coordination and rigorous monitoring of projects. “ Planning is essential to guide strategic choices and ensure inclusive and sustainable growth. We are delighted to share our experience with Gabon to strengthen South-South cooperation ,” she said.
