“The Court of Auditors receives at the end of each year, company accounts and these accounts are generally certified by the members of the order. If there are anomalies, and irregularities in the accounting, this body can now officially refer to us. The court now has an interlocutor whereas before, it did not know who to turn to, “he continued.
The first president of the Court of Accounts and Budgetary Discipline, for his part, urged the Order to fully fulfill its advisory role both for the public authorities and for the private sector in terms of accountability and more broadly. application of the texts governing public accounting and the accounting year in Congo.
“In view of the passage of budgets from resources to programs, the expertise of the order may be required as part of the training of public accountants in the preparation of budgets and establishment of financial statements”, concluded Charles Emile Appesse.
