It is the epitome of a press release signed by members of the Cameroon Alcohol Producers Association CAPA which also has Sofavinc and Fermencam as members.
In a press release signed jointly by the members of the Cameroon Alcohol Producers Association (Capa), they reassure their customers that their products are on the market, despite the health crisis linked to the Coronavirus. “They therefore wish to reassure all their distributors, retailers, large and medium-sized stores as well as consumers that they continue their production and distribution activities of beverages in strict compliance with the instructions and rules adopted by the State of Cameroon for the well-being of populations ”, the press release assured.
In view of the current context, they are still focusing on raising awareness by inviting its customers to comply with the measures put in place by the government to fight the disease. “CAPA companies recommend their customers to respect all measures taken by the competent administrative authorities and to ensure the application of barrier gestures and distance instructions between customers,” it read.
It should be noted that CAPA is formed by the major players in the alcoholic beverage industry, namely the Société anonyme des Brasseries du Cameroun (Sabc) Group; Guinness Cameroon S.A.; the Cameroonian Brewery Union (UCB), the Cameroonian wine-making company (Sofavinc) and the Cameroonian fermentation company (Fermencam).
