This material is part of a loan of 5 billion francs contracted with the World Bank, via the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (Bird), as part of its “Project of preparation and response. strategic to Covid-19 ”.
This project aims to strengthen the health system, especially in the prevention, detection and management of cases, in accordance with Gabon’s Covid-19 preparedness and response plan. It will also finance the training of health personnel and the establishment of two new diagnostic centers for Covid-19.
“This project is in line with the long-term commitment provided by the World Bank to strengthen health systems in Gabon, including the project under preparation on basic health care,” said the Minister. resident representative of the World Bank in Gabon.
