AFSIC, the zenith for asset management firms with a keen eye on African investments, presented an exclusive platform where industry leaders from diverse sectors converged – from banking and fintech innovation to sustainable growth, agriculture, and power.
Over the past decade, AFSIC has grown into a physical meeting ground for Africa’s major investors, significant companies, and key regional and national trade agencies. Renowned for fostering networking, discussions, and the execution of impactful investment deals, AFSIC consistently drives growth and success for African companies in search of funding and those eyeing global expansion.
The 2023 conference was a transformative experience, enabling attendees to unearth fresh investment opportunities, cultivate meaningful business partnerships, and exchange crucial insights into the African market. The introduction of the AFSIC Event and Meeting App facilitated engagement and networking before, during, and after the event.

The enhanced networking sessions facilitated interactions with over 300 investors. Country-investment summits delved into the macro- and micro-investment climates of several of Africa’s largest and fastest-growing economies. Ethiopia took center stage, with the FSD Ethiopian team engaging with various institutions, promoting climate finance initiatives, and raising capital for the upcoming Ethiopian Stock Exchange.
