SCB Cameroon gets new Deputy General Manager

Madeleine Koum was officially presented in Yaoundé as Deputy General Manager of the Cameroonian subsidiary of the Attijariwafa Bank group.

To hoist the Société Commerciale de Banque (SCB) to the top of Cameroon’s banking institutions, such is the mission assigned to Koum née Ebenye Ewele Madeleine at the time of his assumption of office as Deputy General Manager of this banking establishment. After Douala, the new promotion was officially presented this Thursday, May 14 in Yaoundé. The formal ceremony was attended by an audience of figures including the Minister of Finance, the Governor of the Central Region and members of the bank’s Board of Directors.

For this mother of 4 children, the challenge is daunting, which is why she intends to get to work to deserve the confidence of the board of directors who on May 08 appointed her to this position on the proposal of the chief of State “I will be this proactive DGA… I would like to thank the Head of State who made his choice on my modest person to occupy this prestigious position; I hope I will not betray his trust. Holder of a DESS in business administration from Jean Moulin Lyon II University, it was in 1985 that Madeleine Koum joined SCB Cameroon. Throughout her career, she held positions in contact with customers. A major asset in his new role. To hoist the bank to pre-eminent positions, the new promotion, together with the General Manager, will have to increase the number of customers while retaining that already present. “She is the one who will guide me; it is she who has the precedence of the Bank; she is the one who will explain to me what the potential of this Bank is because we have extremely strong ambitions. We want to reconnect with the summit. This will first and foremost involve first-rate services for customers, ” Alexandre Beziaud, the bank’s Managing Director.
