More specifically, the member of the government went to inquire whether the promises made in 2011 by President Paul Biya, regarding the modernization of the Port of Douala-Bonabéri, had actually been materialized by the Director General of the PAD, Cyrus Ngo’o. Accompanied for the occasion by the Minister of Transport Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe and the Minister of External Relations Lejeune Mbella Mbella, as well as the highest administrative authorities of the Littoral region, Paul Biya’s special envoy made a field visit to get a firsthand look at the realities.

At the end of the visit, the Sgpr expressed his great satisfaction at the significant progress made. “The achievements made here are impressive, and I believe the best is yet to come. The Port of Douala is the lifeblood of our economy. It is a useful infrastructure not only for our country, but also for other landlocked Central African countries. The Head of State promised it, and it is now a reality.

The Port of Douala is becoming the benchmark port in the Gulf of Guinea. The vision of His Excellency Paul Biya, Head of State, is underway, we feel it, we see it , ” declared Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh with a satisfied air. And the Minister of State added to the press: “Today, I have come to see firsthand the realities of a modern and efficient infrastructure. The images we have just seen and the report we have just listened to reassure us. Cameroon is on the march towards emergence under the wise and assured leadership of HE Paul Biya, President of the Republic, Head of State . “
