These losses, estimated at hundreds of millions, were the consequences of measures taken by the Government to curb the spread of the pandemic.
In the building and public works sector, the situation is also bleak. All construction sites are stopped. General laborers and other workers are forced into unemployment. Despite the dreaded disaster, the country’s authorities have worked tirelessly to absorb the shock anyway. It is true that the measures taken have far-reaching effects on the labor market and on the living conditions of households, but the results are worth the effort.

Restricting movement and closing businesses has been a nightmare for many people who fight daily to earn their living.
