The “Top cola” brand is now available on the Cameroonian market since May 11, 2020
The range of products from the Société Anonyme des Brasseries du Cameroun (SABC) has just been enriched with a new offer: the soft drink called “Top Cola”. This last product widens the range of carbonated drinks of the brewing company which marketed until April 2020, nine carbonated drinks of various types and available in 21 flavors: Top, Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Djino, Schweppes, Malt’up, Vimto and Orangina.
“Top cola” thus ranks 10th among gaseous products from SABC factories. According to Alain Tekebeu, the Manager of soft drinks segment, “Top Cola” is intended for a specific target. The new drink has been marketed since May 11, 2020 throughout the Cameroonian territory in a range of 65 cl. With a dominance ratio of the Cameroonian soft drink market evaluated at more than 80%, SABC consolidates its position as leader in agro-food production in Cameroon and in the Central Africa sub-region. In 2019, the company produced more than 8 million hectoliters of beer, soft drinks and alcohol-mix, for the local and sub-regional market.
The production of the new brand “Top cola” comes after two major events recorded within the brewing company: the inauguration of the preform manufacturing plant on November 15, 2019, followed by the inaugural commissioning, on February 26 2020, of the new 14 chain SABC Ndokoti factory, in accordance with the group’s investment plan launched in 2017.
Installed in Cameroon since 1948, SABC markets, apart from gaseous products, energy drinks, beer , soda, syrup, wines and mineral water in its nine factories and 23 bottling lines.
