Cameroonian Pierre Ngon to head Benin / Niger cluster of Bollore Transport & Logistics

The Benin / Niger cluster of Bolloré Transport & Logistics, a company derived from the French group Bolloré, has a new Managing Director. And it is the Cameroonian Pierre Ngon, who was appointed, on Monday, September 14, 2020, to lead the structure in these two West African countries. The 47-year-old transport and logistics expert replaces Beninese Jérôme Binois in this post.

According to a briefing note made public on the Bolloré Transport & Logistics website, Pierre Ngon will be “responsible for logistics and shipping activities in the two countries, under the supervision of Executive Chairman Venance Gnigla for Benin”.

Clearly, he will oversee the development of logistics activities in the corridor between the Port of Cotonou in Benin and Niger. A mission that he apprehends quite well, having already exercised this level of function in Equatorial Guinea in 2013 as well as in Niger in 2017.

Pierre Ngon holds a master’s degree in management science option finance & accounting from the University of Douala. He worked for the company in Cameroon and held several financial positions, before starting his peregrinations on the continent. This has enabled him to develop new managerial skills, which he will have to put at the service of the cluster for which he is now responsible.
