The Cameroonian subsidiary of the BGFI Bank group, a major player in the banking sector in Central Africa, will officially inaugurate its new headquarters building in Douala on December 6, 2024. Located in the heart of Cameroon’s economic capital, this imposing building, which has required three years of work since the laying of its foundation stone in 2021, embodies the institution’s ambitions. Built on eight floors, the headquarters is designed to offer an optimized and functional workspace. The ground floor is dedicated to a bank branch to welcome customers, while five floors house spacious offices. The upper levels, equipped with conference rooms with an unobstructed panoramic view, are reserved for strategic teams.
A major investment for Cameroon
Henri-Claude Oyima, Chairman and CEO of BGFI Holding Corporation SA, announced this achievement last July as an important milestone for the bank. “This building is not just a simple structure, it is a showcase of what we are today and what we aim for tomorrow,” says the General Management of BGFI Bank Cameroon. With this building, the bank reaffirms its roots in the Cameroonian economic landscape. In addition to offering a modern and comfortable working environment to its 370 employees, the building aims to strengthen the visibility of the institution while optimizing the customer experience.
