Returning to its historic home, the 28th edition of Art Paris establishes itself as a beacon of resilience and linguistic exploration, gathering 165 galleries from across the globe.
Paris, April 2026 – The Grand Palais has once again become the epicenter of the contemporary art world. This year’s fair is defined by two profound curatorial lenses: “Repair” and “Babel,” challenging visitors to look beyond the canvas and into the structural soul of our society.
The Art of Healing
Curated by Alexia Fabre, the “Repair” section focuses on art as a tool for recovery. Whether addressing ecological scars or historical wounds, the works showcased emphasize that beauty often emerges from the mending process.
“To repair is not to hide the fracture, but to acknowledge it as a catalyst for transformation,” Fabre noted during her opening remarks.
Babel: The Visual Language
Simultaneously, Loïc Le Gall’s “Babel” explores the intersection of art and linguistics. In an era of digital noise, the selected artists return to the physical power of signs, letters, and the architecture of communication.

Opening Voices
Guillaume Piens, General Director of Art Paris:
“Art Paris remains a ‘human-scale’ fair. Our return to the Grand Palais allows us to bridge the gap between local intimacy and global ambition, creating a space where the light of the nave illuminates the future of the market.”
Kamel Mennour, Renowned Gallerist:
“There is a palpable shift this year. Collectors aren’t just looking for aesthetics; they are seeking depth. The market is gravitating toward works that offer a moral or philosophical compass.”
Alexia Fabre, Guest Curator:
“The artists here prove that creativity is our best defense. This edition is a sanctuary for those who believe that through art, we can begin to care for the world again.”
