Visa has announced the appointment of Aminata Kane Ndiaye as Senior Vice President for West and Central Africa. She will oversee a strategic region covering 23 markets, with the regional headquarters based in Abidjan.
Proven, Multidimensional Leadership
Before joining Visa, Aminata Kane amassed over a decade of experience in digital financial services and telecommunications. She held senior leadership roles within the Orange Group, notably leading Orange Money and Orange Bank Africa operations across 17 countries.
In Sierra Leone, where she served as CEO of Orange Sierra Leone, she achieved annual growth of over 20% and spearheaded innovative initiatives such as mobile money-based microloans, solar energy solutions through Orange Energy, and e-Education programs.

Committed to advancing inclusive digital transformation, she launched the Orange Digital Center in Sierra Leone, along with the Orange Foundation, aimed at empowering youth and women through digital skills training to foster economic independence.
