The Managing Director of Afriland First Bank received this award during the third edition of the Financial Afrik Awards, held at the Museum of Black Civilizations in Dakar, Senegal. The best banker in Central Africa is a Cameroonian. Indeed, Alphonse Nafack, since it is him, received this award during the third edition of the Financial Afrik Awards held on December 17, 2020 at the Museum of Black Civilizations in Dakar, Senegal.
This award honours his work that has already been recognized by peers and the entire profession. Indeed, Alphonse Nafack has been chairman of the Professional Association of Cameroon Credit Institutions (APECCAM) for five years (2015). In addition, under his leadership, Afriland First Bank has risen to the top of the banking hierarchy in Cameroon.
“Our secret is innovation, questioning our environment, implementing new financial inclusion products. This is how we became the number one bank in the country, ” Alphonse Nafack, the lucky winner said.
This award ceremony was organized by the editorial staff of the magazine Financial Afrik. Its name is practically the trademark of Afriland First Bank. He has more than 25 years of career there and has climbed all the steps. From Commitments Controllers in 1993, he has been CEO since 2012, then in 2015 Director and CEO.
He has received several honorary titles in recognition of his professional career and his civic commitment. Alphonse Nafack is a Knight, Officer and Commander of the National Order of Valor.
