Finance, investment, innovation and diplomacy take centre stage as prominent African and international decision-makers convene in the French capital.

Paris, October 23, 2026 | CEMAC-ECO.FINANCE

The fourth edition of Africa Solutions Week (SAS 2026) takes place in Paris on October 23–24, bringing together leading figures from finance, business, diplomacy, technology and international media.

Organised by Léonce Houngbadji, founder of Notre Voix, under the theme “Generation Solutions: Africa Creates, Dares and Transforms,” the event aims to turn African innovation into sustainable economic opportunities, investment partnerships and long-term growth.

A Prestigious Line-up of Influential Speakers

Among the most prominent personalities announced for this year’s edition:

  • Wilfrid Lauriano Do Rego — Former Chairman of KPMG France’s Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Abidjan–Lagos Corridor Management Authority. A key figure in African economic integration and infrastructure development.
  • Didier Acouetey — Founder of AfricSearch and Special Adviser to the President of the African Development Bank, working on Africa’s New Financial Architecture for Development. His expertise highlights the continent’s growing ambitions in investment mobilisation.
  • Bruno Fuchs — Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the French National Assembly, bringing a significant diplomatic and institutional dimension to the gathering.
  • Tarak Cherif — Tunisian business leader and founder of CONECT, recognised for his commitment to private-sector development and international business cooperation.
  • Denise Epoté — Renowned Cameroonian media executive and former senior executive at TV5MONDE, representing the growing influence of African voices in international media.
  • Mohamadou Diallo — Founder of CIO Mag and the Digital African Tour, a prominent advocate of Africa’s digital transformation.

Central Africa in the Spotlight

The participation of personalities with strong ties to Central Africa adds particular significance for the CEMAC region.

Pierre-François Kamanou, Franco-Cameroonian entrepreneur and former CEO of Telecel Gabon, brings extensive experience in telecommunications and digital infrastructure.

Philippe Chandezon, President of Gabon’s Association of Real Estate Agents, represents a sector increasingly central to urban development and economic diversification.

Their involvement highlights Central Africa’s contribution to the continent’s emerging innovation ecosystem.

From African Potential to Economic Power

With approximately 100 speakers, 100 showcased solutions and participants representing around 40 countries, SAS 2026 seeks to connect entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and development institutions.

Through business forums, networking opportunities and the Solutions Awards, the gathering aims to strengthen investment flows, encourage cross-border partnerships and accelerate the scaling of African innovations.

For CEMAC-ECO.FINANCE, this initiative reflects a fundamental shift in Africa’s development narrative: moving beyond the recognition of potential towards measurable economic impact.

Africa’s future will not be defined solely by the resources it possesses, but by its ability to finance innovation, empower entrepreneurs and transform homegrown solutions into engines of sustainable prosperity.
