It emerges overall that the works are progressing well, despite the delays. The managers of the company in charge of building the complex have identified several difficulties that hinder the completion of this project. They mainly cite the freezing of equipment at the port of Douala in Cameroon and the payment of part of their bill.

According to officials from the construction company, if all the difficulties listed are resolved, the complex will be delivered before the end of the current year.

While encouraging officials to accelerate better to complete the site, the Minister of Animal Husbandry and Animal Production pledged to find suitable solutions to the difficulties identified so that the work progresses. Gayang Souaré also invites the company to get down to business to complete this project.

The Mandélia dairy industrial complex, located 45 kilometers south of N’Djamena, has a daily production capacity of 65,000 liters of milk per day. The overall cost of carrying out this project amounts to nearly 40 billion FCFA, financed by the Central Africa Developement Bank BDEAC.
