In a dazzling display of glamour, the 63rd Monte-Carlo Television Festival unfurled its red carpet to the world’s finest in television, inaugurated by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco at the resplendent Grimaldi Forum. The evening’s festivities commenced with the introduction of the esteemed Golden Nymph Awards jury members on the prestigious Salle Des Princes stage.

Presiding over the Fiction Jury is the acclaimed US actor and producer David Boreanaz, renowned for his roles in global hit series such as “Bones,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Angel,” and “SEAL Team.” He is joined by an illustrious panel including Piv Bernth of Apple Tree Productions, Teresa Fernandez Valdes of Te Espero en Marte, Claire Mundell of Synchronicity Films, Danish actor Ulrich Thomsen, and Noor Sadar of White Lion Films.
At the helm of the News and Documentaries Jury is Steve Anderson, a distinguished UK journalist and former ITV executive. His jury comprises Chiara Avesani of Rai 3, Martina Šantavá of Ceska Televise, André Carvalho Ramos of CNN Portugal, and Yann-Anthony Noghès of Check Productions.
The night shone bright as the Crystal Nymph Award was bestowed upon Morgan Freeman by Prince Albert II, honoring his vast and influential career in television. The International Golden Nymph for Most Promising Talent was awarded to the British actress Simone Ashley, celebrated for her portrayal of Kate Sharma in the Netflix sensation “Bridgerton.”
Highlighting the evening was the world premiere screening of “The Gray House,” attended by a constellation of stars including Mary-Louise Parker, Daisy Head, Amethyst Davis, and Ben Vereen, alongside executive producers Leslie Greif, Lori McCreary, and Morgan Freeman.
In his opening address, Prince Albert II extolled the festival’s legacy of celebrating diverse and compelling television from across the globe.
